  • John founded the firm in 1991 to fulfill the underserved needs of emerging growth businesses and their owners. He recognized that this market segment would benefit from the same resources available to larger companies, but his “Big 4” firm was too pricey.

    As a result of his vision, The Anderson Company has helped clients transform their ideas into multi-million dollar businesses and has helped hundreds achieve the peace-of-mind of financial security.

    When not teaching clients about the path to financial health, John enjoys playing ice hockey, and spending time with his family.

  • Carlos applies over 18 years of experience in public accounting and tax compliance to supervise the preparation, review and filing of business and personal tax returns. He proactively advises on tax planning issues and analyzes tax compliance.

    Clients benefit from Carlos’s exceptional client service, which is driven by his passion and desire to help people. He communicates in simple English so clients understand complex tax strategies that save them money.

    Carlos and his family are actively involved with his daughters’ schools and various other charitable organizations. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and listening to music.

  • Jeff is a well-rounded tax and business manager and a key member of our team. He enjoys simplifying the tax preparation process for clients, helping them save money and time. His wide-ranging experience – from working in the Fiscal Department of the UCLA School of Medicine’s Dean’s Office to operating a small business, and as a stockbroker – combine to provide Jeff with tremendous insight on business and financial planning.

    Jeff is very active in the South Bay and has served as president of the Mira Costa Football Boosters, the executive board of the Manhattan Beach Foundation, and has been a board member of the Mira Costa Field Development Committee and chairman of his church’s capital campaign committee.
